 CUA Students 'Wheel Out' Thesis Project to Acclaim
It's called the Segway -- a two-wheeled personal transportation device unveiled in 2001 amid much hype -- and it could change the way Americans move about their cities, easing traffic jams and air pollution. No one has developed such an in-depth investigation into the machine's effect on urban planning and transportation as two CUA architecture grad students, says their professor and the device's manufacturer.
