New Provost Awards Recognize Outstanding Faculty
Provost John Convey has created a new series of annual faculty awards, which were bestowed during the May 4 faculty luncheon marking the end of the school year. Six professors were honored for excellence in teaching, research and lifetime achievement. Students, faculty and staff were recognized for their achievements at the annual Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony, held April 27.

The CUA Office of University Admissions' recruiting efforts recently produced the university’s best-attended Odyssey Day to date and a 12 percent increase in applications from this time last year. See story.

Freshman Architecture Students Create Murals of New Orleans

A group of CUA architecture students has documented the design and character of several New Orleans neighborhoods in three multi-dimensional wooden murals, which were unveiled and put on display April 25 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. See story.

Summer Brings Visitors, Events to CUA

Catholic University will continue to bustle with activity through the summer with dozens of groups staying on campus and using classroom space for conferences and other events. A total of 7,600 visitors are expected to use campus facilities between mid-May and mid-August.
