Commencement

Cardinal James A. Hickey received an honorary degree during CUA’s 111th commencement May 13. NBC broadcaster Jodi Applegate gave the commencement address. Some 1,096 graduates were awarded diplomas in separate ceremonies throughout the day. See story.

Law School Commencement

Major General William Suter, the Clerk of Court for the United States Supreme Court, will address graduates of The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law. The ceremony will be held May 27 in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and will be taped for broadcast on C-SPAN.
