Campus Welcomes Admitted Students to Odyssey 2005 
Catholic
University rolled out the welcome mat for 350 admitted students and their
parents April 6, for an open house featuring workshops, panels, receptions and
mixers all over campus. Called Odyssey 2005, the unprecedented event offered a
campus-wide look at all CUA has to offer. See story. CUA Community Celebrates Student Employment Week
CUA
celebrated National Student Employment Week April 1-7 on campus, recognizing
contributions of student workers like Francis Origanti (pictured above, center)
and Melissa Currie, who were named graduate and undergraduate Student Employees

2000/2001 school year draws to a close, summer schedules are being prepared for

Pryzbyla Spirit Day Builds Anticipation for Center The grand
opening of CUA’s Pryzbyla center might not be until 2003, but in the meantime
the campus community took a spirit-filled day to celebrate as the time for
beginning construction draws near, to pack a time capsule and to view final
plans. See story. Students and Their Mentors Lauded at Awards Ceremony
CUA’s student
leaders, scholars and the advisers, professors and staff who help them were
singled out for recognition at the university’s version of ‘Oscar Night.’ See story. Letting the Internet CUA
psychology researchers use the Internet to collect survey data from an
international sample of respondents. The results will be used to study how
people turn to religion in times of stress. See Research. About
